Look at this cutie! Meet Luna, a 6-year-old, 20-pound scruffy terrier blend with a zest for life and plenty of energy to enjoy it! Despite being in her middle years, Luna is still full of fun and adventure.

Luna would be perfectly content as the only dog in your home or with a non-dominant male dog. She loves exploring the outdoors, so a secure, fenced backyard is a must—she’s not suited for apartment or condo living. Luna enjoys walks and would be thrilled to spend the day with you, whether you're going on adventures or just hanging out together.

While Luna is easygoing, she prefers to be the only female dog in your life. She’s not particularly fussy, but she’d rather not share her home with other female dogs.

We’re not sure about her interactions with cats or young children, so we recommend a home with older, responsible kids who can appreciate her delightful personality.

Luna is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.00.

Our process starts with an adoption application, followed by interview / meet & greet with adopter and their existing pets, agree to a home check for the safety of the adopted pet and when approved, will complete an Adoption Agreement along with adoption fee. Fees vary based on adoptable pet's age, breed, and situation. Fees range from $120-$550. Cash or check is preferred payment.

We have adoption events every other Saturday from 11:00-2:00 PM at PetSmart in Scottsdale (10030 N. 90th Street).

Due to the holidays, the every other week schedule might be off beginning in January, so please contact Petsmart at 480-391-1647 to find out whether there is an event prior to making your way there.

Pathways Home Animal Rescue is an all volunteer / foster based organization dedicated to finding the best homes for abandoned, surrendered, and county shelter animals. We stay small so we can devote our energies and resources to all the animals in our care. When we take in a found or stray animal every effort is made to reunite them with their owners. All animals in our care receive proper veterinary care, are spayed or neutered, all appropriate vaccinations, preventative care, and microchip are administered before they are adopted.
