Hi there, I'm Amelia! I lived a pretty normal life until one day, I discovered my superpower. I have an extraordinary sense of smell, even for a dog! I became the Nose Knows, using my power to find lost items and people. One day, I sniffed out a little girl trapped in a well. After her rescue, I was hailed a hero! But my family couldn't handle the fame, so they brought me here. Now, I'm looking for a new family. I'm gentle and playful, and I promise to use my powers for good in our home. Adopt me, and let's have our own adventure!

More about this rescue

Lost Paws Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer based organization dedicated to the welfare, care and adoption of abandoned and homeless animals. We also provide educational materials that will help pet owners with their animals. All of our animals are kept in foster homes. We also have rescue animals in need of medical care.

We do this because we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals in the community. We hope to do this through education, being an advocate for the animals, endeavoring to reduce animals over population (spay/neutering) and preventing animal cruelty.
