My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Forest! I'm a lively and playful kitten who loves to have a good time. I get a kick out of playing with springs, balls, and mesh straws. I also have a blast playing trackball, either on my own or with my sister and best buddy, Fauna. Together, we love to run, chase each other, and have a bit of friendly wrestling fun. We also really get a kick out of playing games in our tunnel.

After playtime, there's nothing I love more than snuggling up with my cozy Sherpa blanket and getting lots of pets. It's the perfect way to wind down and leads to a well-deserved nap.

When you first meet me, you might not guess that I have very mild CH (cerebellar hypoplasia) and that I am deaf. But it doesn't hold me back - I'm just like any other kitty and don't need any special care. My foster mom even chats with me, even though she knows I can't hear her!

I need to be adopted with my sister Fauna. Growing up with her has been amazing for me, helping me improve my balance and coordination.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
