A husky without the crazy husky energy? You’re in for a treat! And look at that face! He’s the handsomest 😊 Delgado is the perfect gentleman for any family. He is friendly, sweet and absolutely fantastic with kids, dogs and cats. Del is unperturbed by loud noises or quick, unpredictable movements with young children. He goes about his business even when a dog is barking in his face. While Del isn’t a barker, he is quite the escape artist. Get a double lock or secure system for your doors. No worries about fences. Del doesn’t even jump over a baby gate. We do recommend a fenced yard though, since he loves to be outside exploring and when it snows. Now rain is a different story. He will only go outside if he absolutely must pee :/ Not a fan of the rain but loves water. Del usually starts his day with lots of energy. This energy dwindles as the day goes on. He loves walks but can sometimes wiggle out of a harness, however a Freedom harness keeps him in check! If you have guests over, be sure to let Del empty his bladder first. He still does the excitement pee thing :/ It is a sight to watch when he giddily dances around, welcoming the guests and peeing on himself :/ Oh, let us not forget to mention his diva-like behavior when it comes to nail trimming. He needs to be held and reassured that everything is ok while another person quickly trims his nails. Del loves balls but no stuffies for this boy, please. He guards them because he likes them just a tad too much.

Delgado is 5 years old, 50lbs Husky Malamute mix. He is housebroken and crate trained, although he will make his displeasure at being crated known. He is accustomed to twice daily feeding, but grazes sometimes. Del is looking for a family he can go places with. He loves to be outside, loves car rides, and loves to be around his people!
