We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

August is a young boy wise beyond his years and he is filled with character. His foster says August has showed much growth since entering her home especially his quick learning of basic commands (sit, stay, bed) and shows eagerness to learn more. August loves new things whether it be walks, people, car rides, parks or beaches and loves playing in the water with the kids. You can count on August to have a happy, loving attitude.

August walks very well on leash, and gets excited for his walks, he also does well in his crate at night where his bed remains. (We encourage this to be continued.)
August does well with dogs and cats and seeks frequent playtime with the current dog in the home.

He loves his children, whether it be laying next to the foster’s baby, or running with his the 6 year old, he’s always there happy, and is good with personal space. If given the opportunity this young boy is happy to show you his goofy playful agile side too.

His ideal home would be one with a fenced in backyard where he could run and play. A home with children and a family or person who would love to have him included in their adventures, whether it be hiking, walking or jogging.

August would be a great addition to any family, he has lots of life left to live, and he’s excited to live it and experience this new life with people of his very own.

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.
