My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Carmella!**

Carmella is a sweet 4-5-year-old pup who’s been through a lot, losing her home and now waiting patiently for a forever family to call her own. She’s a gem on a leash, rides well in the car, and takes her treats with the utmost gentleness. Carmella is a smart girl who knows her basic commands and is eager to please.

She’s best suited for a home without small dogs, cats, or children, as she can be a bit bossy with other dogs and feels nervous around new people. For her comfort, it’s ideal to give her some space, like a crate or another room, when visitors come by. Carmella is looking for a calm, relaxed environment where she can unwind and enjoy life with her special person.

She would do best in a secure yard where she can explore safely, under supervision, to ensure she doesn’t find a way out. Before heading home, Carmella would love to meet any resident humans and dogs to make sure it’s a perfect fit.

If you’re searching for a loyal companion to share peaceful days with, Carmella is ready to fill that role in your heart and home.
