This handsome boy is Bubbles. He is a 2-year-old lab mix with the cutest stub tail. Bubbles weighs 50 lb and has a shiny golden coat. Bubbles has experienced a lot of change in a very short amount of time. He was a local owner surrender and went from living outside in a yard to now getting used to inside living at a foster home. The foster says he is making great progress and is very sweet and gentle. Once Bubbles feels comfortable with you, he remembers you as his person and will jump for joy the next time he sees you. Bubbles' trust can take some time to earn but it is well worth it. Once he is comfortable, he is a very playful and outgoing dog who just wants to flop in your lap for attention. He is doing very well with housetraining and settling in a crate. Bubbles needs a home where people are willing to work with him and able to make some exceptions with him, like slow introductions to guests that enter the house and continuing to help his world grow bigger as he was originally from the Dominican Republic and then received very little exposure when living outside in his previous home. He is very playful and can be mouthy when worked up, so dog savvy and experienced owners are recommended. Bubbles would do best in a home without young children and would do well with a dog friend to play with. He would do best in a home without cats.
