Howdy! We are Mike and Mollie and we are a bonded pair looking to fill your home with love, snuggles, and smiles. We came to Forever Loved as a transfer from Mini Mighty Mutts rescue so that we could have greater exposure in an area that would increase our chance of adoption. We are currently in a foster home that has both dogs and cats, so we are looking forward to finding our forever home with more attention just for us!
Molly here - I am a darling 10 year old Chi/Terrier mix that weighs 11 lbs. I absolutely love my pal Mike, and we are the best of friends. In the foster home with all the dogs and cats, I like some of the dogs, and others not so much. The vet said I could lose a few pounds too, but I was not offended. A while ago a different vet put me on heart meds, even though I don’t really need them, but at this point, it will be harmful to take me off them, so keep that in mind. I, too, got a clean bill of health and both of us are eager to have a place in your heart to call our own.
Mike here - I am a 16 lb 9-year-old Chi mix, and think I resemble an adorable fox? I am a laid back, easy going boy and I love to seek out your affection and attention, and I love all kinds of people and other dogs. The doctor said I could lose a few pounds, but otherwise I am very healthy. I had a dental in the past and now have only 2 teeth left, but I really am no trouble at all to feed. Maybe just some softened kibble will be perfect. Would you like to double the love? Apply to meet us and we will not disappoint!

More about this rescue
Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary (FLPS) is the only senior-only animal rescue in Maricopa County, Arizona. Formed in 2012 as a non-profit 501[c][3] organization, the focus of FLPS is to save senior animals who are often overlooked by providing them the opportunity to thrive in a safe and caring environment. FLPS serves a public need by offering housing to a limited number of senior pets.
This safe haven, takes the burden of temporary care and housing of senior animals off of local shelters. Inevitably, local shelters resort to euthanizing these abandoned, senior animals at an alarming rate. According to a 2012 statistics report, Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) euthanizes one animal every eight minutes it is open to the public. Euthanasia for senior residents is the primary option for most local shelters because they tend to focus their efforts on a high adoption model that includes younger “more adoptable” animals. FLPS works with local shelters and rescues to identify the senior animals in need and provide a streamlined process for interested men, women and families who wish to adopt.
