Meet Dwight, a gorgeous orange and white kitten with a playful spirit and a heart full of curiosity. Always energetic and ready for a game, Dwight loves chasing toys along the ground and especially enjoys pouncing on anything that moves. When he's not playing, you can find him lounging around or watching the world from the window, always taking in his surroundings with keen interest.
Dwight absolutely loves other cats and gets along well with them. While he hasn't been exposed to dogs much, he doesn't seem to mind them during Petco adoption events. Despite his playful and energetic nature, Dwight is very often shy and can be fearful, especially around strangers and small children. He is selective in his interactions with older children and known adults, preferring to take his time to build trust.
Though he tolerates being handled, Dwight will need a quiet home where he can feel safe and secure. He would thrive in an environment with no small children and with someone who understands that he needs time to learn to trust. Interview
We will call to discuss the kind of cat you would like to add to your family. We will also contact your vet and references so let them know!

Approve Application
You receive an email with a tentative approval pending your home visit, with a link to schedule it at your convenience.

Home Check
A quick video home visit to alert you to any dangers in your home or areas of concerns for a cat (example - crystal glassware on shelves).
5.
Meet the Pet
Come meet a specific cat at a meet and greet planned for you or come to one of our adoption events to pick out your new friend.
6.
Sign Adoption Contract
The adoption contract lists your responsibilities for the safety and health of your new family member.
7.
Pay Fee
Standard domestics: $150 young kitten, $125 juvenile kitten, $75 adult. You pay when you adopt or if you choose to reserve.

Approved adopters can schedule a private meet and greet with their chosen pet. Same day adoptions are not done, so please apply in advance of any adoption event to give us time to check vet and personal references and to complete the video home visit.
