Arrival story: Was living outdoors on a chain in the city with 2 other dogs on property but is grasping the life of an indoor dog with everything he’s got. We’re so proud of Frazier!
Approximate age / Weight: 2-ish yrs old and 56 lbs
Personality: Frazier is a friendly boy who wants nothing more than to be your best buddy. Just look at his sweet face and those wrinkles on his forehead! He just makes us swoon! Leaning into the nearest human for some affection is a favorite pastime of his and he’s got great snuggle skills.
While Frazier enjoys a good game of fetch, do not be concerned that you’ll need to constantly throw a slobbery ball around - Frazier is happy to play fetch on his own and just check in with you now and then.
Frazier walks nicely on a leash and has learned the cues - sit, down and drop-it in the short time he’s been with us. He’s quite smart and takes treats gently. Also takes car rides and trips to the vet’s office all in stride and is good on restaurant patios. He will attempt to jump a 4 ft fence to get to any humans on the other side. Like we said, he loves to be with humans and has interacted with kids. This goof is basically a puppy in a grown dog body!
Frazier is curious but not reactive to other dogs. Frazier is more human and toy focused to really care about other dogs at this point in his life.
**Still a bit nervous in a home setting and is working through nailing down a routine and indoor noises after experiencing isolation of outdoor living for so long but has made much progress and should only gain more confidence as time goes on.
New Home: Frazier is best-suited to a home with people home more often than not that enjoy some good walks for sniffs. The great outdoors is where he is happiest so he’d love walks or a yard that affords him some safe sniffs and fetch playtime. Frazier is still young and active and would enjoy walks for sniffs and socializing.
