Melody is a gorgeous girl with a golden and white coat with a flowing tail. She was rescued from a shelter on her last day with her three puppies and has been doing well in her foster home. She is around 3 years old and we believe she is a Golden Retriever and Shepherd mix. What a dream this girl is. She has met several dogs both big and small in her foster home and is gentle, playful and accepting of them all. She is very easy to walk as she stays near you and walks by your side. At night she sleeps in her crate and during the day when her foster mom leaves she stays in her crate for up to 5 hours. Otherwise Melody is left in the house with her friends and she is easy to trust as she finds a toy or a bone and lays on her dog bed. She is good with her bath and is house trained. She would be great in most situations but would love a kind home with gentle voices and kind hearts as she doesn't need to be treated firmly. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Melody, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
