Meet Big Bird!

This sweet guy arrived at HSoP as a stray, and now he's on the hunt of this new forever home. We estimate Big Bird to be around 1 or 2 years old.

When Big Bird first arrived, he had a badly matted coat with just as poor skin underneath. Our shelter staff gave him a good shave down, and began treatment to help his skin heal. He was a total baby throughout the entire process as if he knew we were only trying to help. Big Bird was also quite skinny upon arrival, and is now at a great weight.

Big Bird is a total love bug who appreciates having a human friend by his side. He has proven to be quite the climber, and has successful scaled our tallest outdoor dog house on several occasions. We aren't sure how he does around cats or other dogs, but we offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption and require all dogs to meet any dogs in the home prior to adoption.

Anyone interested in Big Bird should come visit him at HSoP! Our dog kennels are open from 1:00-5:00pm Monday through Saturday with no appointment needed. Just stop by when you have some time! HSoP is located at 2019 E White Ave Moscow, ID 83843.

Big Bird's adoption fee is $135. He will be neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines when he goes home.
