My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I'm Diesel and I am one little cutie pie! Well I mean...just look at me! You can see that there is lots of fun personality wrapped up in this cute little package! I had an owner that I loved, but her health was on the decline and she was having trouble taking care of me and my friend Bene. She decided it would be best if we found another home with an active, healthy family! I am an eighteen-month-old Jack Russell terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I only weigh about sixteen pounds so I won't take up lots of space in your home! Say maybe you could adopt Bene too!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
