My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rat
Female Black DMH
DOB: 04/02/2024
Adoption Fee: $50
Adoptable Soon

Rat, Mouse, and another kitten were found in a vacant lot in a box in Lydia Mill as newborns. They were brought to us and fortunately we had a nursing mom named Tamale that took them and cared for them like her own. They got their names because that’s exactly what they looked like! This adorable fluffy piece of void is most defiantly a rat, she loves hiding in boxes. Although a bit skittish just like her sister she loves cuddles! So what are you waiting for get your own piece of fluffy void today and adopt Rat!

All of our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Many times things change and an approved adopter does not adopt the animal so we do maintain a wait list when necessary.

All our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate Vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Felines are also FIV/FELK tested.

WE ARE OPEN for visitors from 12PM - 4PM Tuesday -Friday and 12PM-3PM on Saturdays or by APPOINTMENT at other times.

We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required first.

ONCE APPROVED WE WILL CALL/EMAIL YOU - APPROVALS CAN TAKE A FEW DAYS

** WEEKEND APPLICANTS **
WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAY & MONDAY THUS YOU WILL NOT HEAR BEFORE TUESDAY

ONLY ONE APPLICATION NEEDED
If interested in more than one pup just put all the names on one application. If you already have an approved application then just email us at lchsmanager@gmail.com to tell us you which animals you want your approved application applied to.
