Hi, my name is Hank! I am 4 months old and weigh about 24 lbs. The people at Humane Tomorrow think I am a Great Pyrenees or Anatolian Shepherd, maybe mixed with Lab or some type of hound. Breed mix is definitely just a guess. I am one of three boys in my litter. I have a soft, medium-wavy coat that is mostly black and white with some tan on my eyebrows, cheeks, and ears. I have very pretty, distinct markings and I am sure to be very handsome when I grow up! I am super smart and listen really well, especially for a young puppy. I pay close attention to my foster parents when they call my name and already know the meaning of 'come here', 'where's my boy', 'no sir' and other things too. I am super loveable and laid back, but also a very playful boy. I love to run around my foster's large yard here on the ranch, playing with my brothers and some other foster pups. We go bouncing through water ponds...I LOVE WATER..., play with toys and wrestle together, and LOVE to GO EXPLORING the many wonders around me...I LOVE TO WANDER AROUND the yard. However, I also love walking and spending time with my foster mom and dad too. I really love to sit with them while they scratch my back and belly and give me hugs and kisses...and I give them big hugs and kisses right back. I can be a lap dog some too! There are lots of things to see here at my foster's place, horses, cows, turkeys, geese, and chickens, they do get my attention, but they do not bother me, and I do not even chase them. We even have some barn cats that I really get along with, now that we understand each other better. I love treats to chew on and toys to play with. I would probably be okay being your only baby but would absolutely love having a fur-sibling to learn from too, remember I have two brothers and some other foster siblings that I play with today! We haven't tried walking on a leash much yet, but again...I am very smart and a fast learner. I have never been around children, but I really think I would be ok with kids over the age of 10, and that's only because I will probably be a very big boy when I grow up..

You may complete an application via our website at http://www.humanetomorrow.org/adopt/.
Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
