We are sisters two, maybe not in the category of "superstar" on stage and screen.... but what WE did is much much more important! (ok not US per se.... but our namesakes!)
We are named after Polish sisters, Stefania and Helena Podgorska, who dared to save Jewish LIVES during Hitler's reign.... 13 LIVES to be exact!
So, here is what my rescuer and my foster mom have to say about me, "Stefania was the runt of this litter, and she has the biggest personality :) Stefania wants a nice family to love her furever!
She and her siblings were left behind a post office in very very poor shape, at 3 weeks old :( They also survived parvo two months later.....
Helena was the second smallest pup and just a cuddle bug has the most beautiful eyes. She wants nothing more than to be your loving family member.
Either girl will be the ultimate friend for a youngster or another fun dog.
Stefania and Helena are hero pups in their own right, hopefully one of them will be your next bestest friend!!"

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.
So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
