Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Located in Decatur, IL
Requirement:
Secure physical fenced yard
Marty is an easy going gal that was used for breeding purposes. It's obvious she has spent some time in a home and is laid back and easy to care for.
Marty enjoys being outside and checking things out. She is also a little mouser and has caught some mice in her foster's backyard! She has been fairly quiet but gets excited in the morning and likes to "sing" and run around the house. She enjoys dog beds and cuddling with her human equally.
Marty gets along great with other dogs, but doesn't need a canine companion in her new home. She is crate trained and can sleep in her crate at night, but she would also enjoy sleeping in the same room with her person.
Marty has dry eye in both eyes and will require daily eye drops from your vet. She is very good about taking the drops and waits patiently. She is also good for baths and brushing. Marty is a door darter and does not walk on a leash. She requires a secure physical fenced yard.
Marty is a fantastic gal and someone will be lucky to have her!
Marty's adoption is 375. She is spayed, recently received a dental, microchipped, current on vaccines, and on monthly heartworm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
