Hi, everyone – I’m Zoya! I’m a super sweet, one year old female Shepherd mix. I’m really good around other dogs and even cats! I love to go on walks on a leash – which I’m really good at if I do say so myself!
I’m looking for a family who can spend time with me and put some structure to my day and life. I’m still a puppy learning the ropes. When left to myself, I have been known to explore a trash can or two, or to become a little bored and occasionally nibble on things I shouldn’t. I’m good, good, good…I just need a family who will help me learn my boundaries and manners. I’m smart as a whip and want to please. I just need my humans to give me a hand!
I’m good in a crate, and can both chill in there as well as sleep there through the night. Once I warm up to you (in less than a day), I am super loving and playful, and I love affection both from and with my peeps. If you are looking for a sweet, loving, amazing girl to be part of your family – both to love on and be loved on – then I’m the one and let’s meet soon!
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
