Gunther is an amazing GSD who loves being active and around humans. He would not be a good choice for someone who is away much of the time. Gunther doesn’t like being placed behind a barrier because it creates anxiety. He does well while free to roam inside or within fenced yard.

GSD Rescue Indy is operated by one person who personally rescues each dog and handles them daily. The rescue has a handful of volunteers who are all GSD owners and well experienced with the breed. Adopters should have owned a GSD previously to be considered for adoption. Fenced yards (no underground), single dwelling homes, and 100 mile radius from Indianapolis IN required.
