My name is Marley!

Marley is a very handsome male Chesapeake Bay Retriever just over a year old.  He loves to be around people and enjoys taking in the scenery on his long walks.  Marley turned down scholarships to play outfield for U of TN and Texas A&M in the CWS championship so he can focus on perfecting his game of fetch and finding his forever family.  He’s an ultra intelligent and athletic guy who will bring years of companionship and joy to an active family. He can jump pretty high so a 6 ft fence might be needed for him. Come out and meet Marley, you might be the perfect family for him.

The adoption fee is $350 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

 Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.

*****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com.  Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.
