Hey guys, my name is Benson. My previous owner surrendered me after she got pregnant and didn’t have time for me anymore. I spent most of my life in a black wire crate because my Previous Owners bought me from a breeder without realizing They'd be going back to work and were only home 10 hours a day, and most of that time we spent sleeping. when I first got to the rescue, I had never touched grass, I had never been around other dogs I had never worn a collar or been led by a leash so the first couple months was just experiencing basic things normal dogs get to experience. I’m a very quiet most say I have the personality of an old man even though I’m not even a year old yet. I’m still getting used to rambunctious dogs and playful big dogs I understand they want to play I just don’t know how to play, but I absolutely love people, and I tried to express playfulness with them, but with patient love and time I could regain my puppyhood but for now, I am just trying to learn how to be a dog and it would be amazing if I could get that one on one from a forever family who could allow me to just be a dog in my own time if you think that sounds like you please contact my rescuer and schedule a time to meet I am approved for Same day adoption and I’m pretty sure I could win you over with my dashing good looks!
