Salutations my name is Willy Wonka. I was death row Puppy set to be euthanized at a high kill shelter in northern California because I was born with a disability. My back legs are slightly splayed, so I walk and run and sit crooked because my previous owners would rather surrender me to a high kill shelter, then to splint my legs and try to fix my disability. I am considered a special-needs puppy because of this I am not in any pain I do not struggle whatsoever and I am probably faster than most puppies you’ll meet. I’m just a little clumsier. I am very goofy and very loving and if you let me lose, I will takeoff running just to see if you could catch me, but I do know a bit of recall so I will come back, especially for a treat, but my rescuer did not believe my life should end just because I was born different so she begged the shelter to put me on eight hour transport where I would be safe. She calls me fatty because I love to eat, and I am very food motivated and I will do absolutely anything for treat Love to cuddle, especially with children and Cats I get really excited and howl when I know it’s time for dinner, but my rescuer has me on a feeding schedule to help with my potty training, I am 90% potty trained, but sometimes my feet get in the way or I lean too much to one side when I use the bathroom but I do go on puppy pads inside and I go far away from the house when I’m outside. I promise I’m a good boy. I just need a special Adopter Who understands. I am a special needs puppy that brings a new flavor of love into a home. If you think you’re home would benefit having a special needs dog as part of the family please contact my rescuer (Her information is listed above my story) and schedule a time to meet with me. I guarantee you will fall in love. I haven’t met a soul Who disliked me yet so I will be eagerly awaiting to hear from you!
