Hello, I am Yue named after the moon spirit because of my pure white coat. I’m a very sweet husky that was surrendered by my breeder. She originally wanted to breed me, but decided not to because I’m small for a husky. I had never left my family’s backyard and I was extremely fearful of new places sights and smells and it took me awhile to acclimate to rescue life. Now I’m walking on a leash, being socialized with other dogs and cats regularly and playing with lots of kids who come to visit. Thankfully everybody at the rescue was really nice and I was able to learn that the world outside a home isn’t so scary. I’m a very easy-going dog. I am potty trained, crate trained, I love car rides and I do like walks, but I’m not a super active husky. I never had the opportunity to be a super active dog, so I am pretty mellow but I do love going absolutely everywhere, I’m not very verbal, but maybe I just need the right family to bring out my talkative nature. I’ve grown extremely attached to my rescuer, but it is time for me to find a home of my own as I can’t stay in the rescue forever.
