My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petey is a sweet boy who came to PACC as a stray. He had a few lumps and bumps removed by our PACC vets and then headed out to foster. But! He encountered a snake soon after so came back to the shelter until he felt a bit better. Needless to say, this hunk has been through enough and is looking to live a quiet life from here on out!

Here’s what we learned about Petey during his time in foster:

- He’s housebroken and crate trained
- He’s loving and gentle with young kids
- Great with other dogs
- Loves to play with a tennis ball and a big fan of tug o’ war
- A big gentle baby and a calm sweetheart
- A reserved couch potato
- Enjoys car rides and loves pup cups

`Petey would fit perfectly in about any type of home. Have kids? He does great with them! Have to work and leave him in crate? He does great! Have other dogs? He doesn’t mind them at all! All he needs is a home that is willing to give him all the love!`

Petey is also a field trip and pawjama party favorite- here’s what’s been said about him:

“Petey is the sweetest dog you could find. He loves treats and will not beg. He is a softy and loves being pet on the neck.”

“Petey is such a gentle big baby. Doesn’t jump, so being around smaller kids isn’t an issue. Not many toys catch his attention, but he loves to play with a ball. We’ve had him for 3 days and he is definitely housebroken and has no problem being in a kennel. He can sit and give paw on command. Loves treats!”

Petey shares his kennel with another PACC pup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Petey today!
