Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Zoey is a sweet soul who craves companionship and affection. A Velcro dog! She would do well in a family that is home often. She is fearful being alone. Due to her fear, I believe she’d benefit from another dog who is confident, calm and patient. She tends to shut down when loud trucks drive by, so walks in the neighborhood have been challenging. With more practice, more training, a pack, and building up her confidence, she may overcome this with someone new! She struts on the trails in the forest preserves and is bold when she runs to “save us” from cicadas and chipmunks.
She lives with a kitten and is good. She visits dogs too.

She is house trained, but pees and poops in the house regularly.
She sleeps with me every night. Between my husband and I. Most mornings I wake up with her against me, under the covers, with her head sticking out. Adorable! She loves to run after balls and gets excited to play with small stuffed animals. She does not destroy her toys.
