Timber is more than just a handsome German Shepherd. He is energetic and has a zest for life. One of his favorite activities is playing ball. Unlike many, Timber is one of the few who will enthusiastically bring it back, ready for the next round! He's also learning to catch frisbee!
He DOES have a prey drive, so he requires a home without cats or chickens.
Timber recently spent time in a foster home with an elderly couple who adored him. He was the perfect houseguest: calm, quiet, and completely house-trained. However, Timber's strength made him a bit too much for his foster family to handle on walks, and he also has a bit of a fascination with chickens.
While he could use some leash training, Timber is a quick learner and would excel with positive reinforcement methods. He's looking for a loving home that can appreciate his wonderful personality and is willing to put in the effort to help him reach his full potential. We are looking for responsible, warm-hearted people to give our dogs the wonderful homes they deserve. Our adoption process is thorough but fast. We focus on making the best match between you and the right dog. To adopt, you will need to:
1. Complete the Adoption Application.
2. Meet the dog you want to adopt.
3. Show proof that you can have a dog in your home (lease, mortgage, letter from landlord).
4. Sign our Adoption Agreement and pay an Adoption Fee.
