Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sherman "Sheppy" joined us from the Fresno Humane Society and has been a cherished part of our rescue family. He is a loyal and affectionate friend. Sheppy is good with everyone he meets, showing kindness and patience to adults and children. He gets along fine with other dogs, though he prefers the company of calm and gentle dogs over big, bouncy ones.

Sheppy is an older gentleman, which means he brings a sense of wisdom and steadiness that younger dogs may not. He does have a prey drive, so no cats or dogs under 20 pounds. He can be leash reactive, so he would NOT make a great dog walk around the city. If you want to give a sweet senior a forever home, have a nice yard for him to supervise you while gardening and lay on your feet on a cold winter night; he's your guy. Meet the Pet

Once your applicaton has been approved you will be invited to select a time to meet your potential pet.

We are looking for responsible, warm-hearted people to give our dogs the wonderful homes they deserve. Our adoption process is thorough but fast. We focus on making the best match between you and the right dog. To adopt, you will need to:

1. Complete the Adoption Application.
2. Meet the dog you want to adopt.
3. Show proof that you can have a dog in your home (lease, mortgage, letter from landlord).
4. Sign our Adoption Agreement and pay an Adoption Fee.

However we host regular adoption pop-ups at Pet Food Express Sonoma (Saturday's 11am-2pm) and on the first Sunday of the month can be found at Pet Food Express, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco.
