Hi! My name is Snow Ball and I'm an adorable 3 year old hound mix! I came to the runaways animal rescue from one of their partnering shelters in rural Florida! I'm a happy, energetic love bug that loves everyone I meet! I get along well with other dogs, cats, and kids! I weigh around 50lbs so I'm the perfect snuggle size! I enjoy going for walks and playing with a toy in the yard. I would love to be your new best friend, we can hit town together since I'm such a social guy, But I'm also okay with cuddling up on the couch and taking a nap some days too! I came to the runaways heart worm positive but don't worry, the nice people here got me all my treatments and I'm now heart worm negative! Because of my heart worm infection I do have something called thromboembolic disease; which is secondary to prolonged heart worm infection. I'm on on a low dose steroid to manage it and im doing great! The doctors say this is something that can resolve with time, so I am hopeful! Either way, I'm just a normal dog living my best life, and I would love to find my special human to share this life with me!

All of our animals come with health records and are dewormed, have age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, all cats are FIV/FeLV tested, and all dogs over 6 months are heartworm tested.
In order to be considered as an adopter you must:
* Be 21 years of age or older
* Have identification showing your present address
* Agree to a home check
* Be able and willing to provide a loving, safe and peaceful environment for this pet
* Be financially stable and willing to provide any necessary medical care
Once you have filled out an application, your application will be reviewed. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet and home check via the email address provided.
