Hi I’m Tater a 7 year old female French Bulldog that was brought into the freedom squad 2 months ago when they saved me from a Socal shelter. Despite my age, I have a lot of energy and loves to play, But I do spend a fair amount of time enjoying relaxing and observing my surroundings. Sunbathing is my favorite past time or laying half on your lap while you are watching the telly. Oh lord do I love the toys, balls, plushies, and getting my belly rubbed. My foster mom always takes me to TJ Maxx and I get to pick my favorite toy and play with it in the cart while she is sopping for the other doggies. I am highly motivated with treats, but I will tell you I can be very stubborn at times like any bulldog breed. I love human interaction and enjoy being touched and cuddled by my favorite human.
When I was rescued from the shelter I had some skin issues and my eyes were dry and crusty. I have been dealing with a UTI and it seems to be on track and I am feeling much better! My foster mom gives me daily eye drops, and her eye condition is improving. Overall, I’m in good health with no significant ongoing issues apart from my eyes, but that’s also just part of being older.
I am crate trained and that is my home I get to go in and out of it as I please. As for potty trained, I rarely have accidents but that is just part of being a rescue and getting use to the home life. My ideal home where I would thrive is with a submissive female dogs or any male dogs. I’m in search of a family that can provide me with a good mix of playtime and relaxation.
I would do well in a home where I can receive regular affection and interaction from my favorite humans.
