My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tamarindo and Limon get along very well with each other. They spend all day doing everything together and love to be together. They never fight or steal toys from each other; when one has a toy, the other waits until the play is over before taking their turn. Since they are still kittens, they sleep a lot but follow people around and are very curious. Tamarindo is very gentle and follows people well. It enjoys being held and loves attention. Limon is more shy and doesn't like being petted, but always follows around. Tamarindo and Limon are both very kind and people-loving kittens. Please apply to adopt!

Go meet their pets

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.

We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue

Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:

-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
