Kenji's foster Dad says he's just about the ideal dog! He is quiet in the house, no barking, good when left alone, very intelligent and learns quickly, has excellent house manners, is not destructive, housetrained, doesn't counter surf or beg and rides well in the car and gets along with the family's dogs too!!! Wow, this sounds like the perfect little no problem guy for sure!!
Kenji came to our Rescue from a large hoarding situation and has been living with his foster Dad for awhile now and he says Kenji is ready for his new forever home. As you can see, he is quite the handsome medium sized guy. He has a gorgeous coat which is in very good condition, full, thick and nice to the touch. Kenji is the perfect gentleman in the car, but it takes a little tugging to actually get him in there but once there, he lays down and catches some zzzzzz's.
He does very well with his foster's two dogs and loves to go for walks He displays no prey drive so he may also be good with cats. He's the perfect size, about 45 lbs., and very well house trained too. He is about five years old.
Kenji is current on all vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, wormed and microchipped. He will make the perfect companion for a quiet home, a single person or older couple no children because we don't know his background with them. His new home should also have a nice fenced yard, a family who will help him continue to grow while he regains his confidence and someone who is home most of the time.
If you are interested in making sweet, handsome and gentle Kenji continue to blossom in your family, please go to www.greatrescue.org to complete an adoption application or call 904-876-7689 or 904-501-6899 with questions.
