Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ariana is a delightful 3-month-old puppy brimming with energy and curiosity. With her soft fur and playful demeanor, she enchants everyone who meets her. Despite her young age, Ariana shows a remarkable intelligence and a keen eagerness to learn, making her an ideal companion for a loving family. She loves chasing after toys, exploring new environments, and snuggling up for a nap after a day full of adventures. Ariana is patiently waiting for her forever home where she can grow, thrive, and shower her new family with unconditional love and joy. Adopting her would not only give her a chance at a wonderful life but also bring endless happiness and laughter to her future home.

More about this shelter
Concern over a large, and ever increasing, population of homeless dogs and cats, instigated the opening of the Monroe County Animal Shelter.
A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the shelter by providing volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
