My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

For adoption information, please call Beth at 832-764-1652 or contact info@TexasAnimalSociety.com.

Hello, I'm Lily. My days are filled with sweet purrs and gentle nudges. I love to show my affection to everyone I meet. I'm quite the social butterfly, making friends easily with both humans and other animals. My temperament is mellow and I'm known for my laid-back nature. I enjoy a good snuggle and I'm always up for a cozy nap. Even though I'm young, I've already experienced the joy of motherhood. My kittens and I had some adventures, but now they've all found their own homes. Now, it's my turn to find a forever home. I'm ready to share my love and sweetness with a family who will cherish me. Why should you adopt me? Well, I'm friendly, gentle, and I have a lot of love to give. I'm sure I can make your home a happier place with my soothing purrs and gentle nature.Interested in adopting a companion cat from Texas Animal Society?

More about this rescue

Our goal is to promote the health and care of pets in your community through involvement, education and prevention (spay/neuter), to give a voice to the animals in need and to provide a means for others to help in the plight of dogs and cats in need of assistance, care and homes. Through the means of rescue, volunteering and fostering we can help accomplish the ultimate goal of providing quality care and humane lives for dogs and cats in Texas. We strive to work with individuals, county facilities, other rescues and local communities.

Founded in 2011 as MCASociety to support our local animal shelter, we soon learned we should strive to do more and rebranded to Texas Animal Society. Reaching beyond our local shelter to help the community and others as well as our shelter.

TAS is strictly operated by donations. All donations directly benefit animal welfare and care of dogs and cats.
Please consider donating to TAS for the continued rescue efforts and vetting for dogs and cats in need.

We partnership with Petsmart and Petco, and conduct regular adoption events at area locations.

Texas Animal Society is looking for fosters and volunteers to join our efforts. Please email info@texasanimalsociety.com if you are interested in joining TAS. Help be the voice and make a difference.
