My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fred is an 8 week old, Chihuahua mix. His mom is around 12 lbs and we were told his dad was a 35 lbs bully mix. Fred is presently around 5 lbs. Regardless his breed, he’s a happy, playful, sweet pup looking for a forever home.

Fred is a foster in Fort Lupton, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

More about this rescue

Mile High Canine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3, Colorado non-profit organization established in 2019. We are 100% volunteer run and foster home based. MHCR aims to provide abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs a loving home to grow and learn in until a suitable forever home is found. While in foster care, our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested/treated, microchipped, and vaccinated. We rescue dogs from Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.
