My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nougat is a female pekingese mix born 2/2024. She is current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped & her spay appointment is scheduled.

Nougat is a playful puppy who gets along with other dogs, all sized humans & we can only assume cats. She will need all of her puppy training including potty training. She loves any kind of toy & will cuddle into a comfy blanket or bed for naps. We do not know what she is mixed with.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.
