My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet spunky Bree! Bree is a lot of fun in a little package.

Estimated date of birth January 16, 2024.
Breed unknown but with a lot of adorable corgi traits.

Baby Bree is treat motivated and learned to sit on the first attempt. She can entertain herself with toys, puzzles or fun zoomies but adores people and other dogs. She thinks she’s a water dog and enjoys splashing in her tiny puppy pool.

Little Bree is a survivor. A game warden found her in a wheel well at just 4.5 lbs and 5-6 weeks old. The local county shelter put out a plea for a tiny pup with a broken bone in her foot. Sadly, Bree’s injuries were much worse than anticipated. Her left leg had a break near the knee, and the head of her right rear femur was broken off and floating around in her pelvis. Bree quickly went to NVC Nederland where she received a blood transfusion prior to having surgery on both legs. The very talented Dr Hanson placed a pin in the left leg and performed FHO surgery on the right hip. Follow up x rays showed that she is fully healed. Her medical team does not expect future issues with either leg.

Bree is spayed and fully vaccinated. She is on flea and heartworm preventative. House training is currently a work in progress. Bree wasn’t allowed to go outside during her surgical recovery and has just recently started house training. We think she will figure it out fast.

Bree’s ideal home would have a fenced yard and possibly another small furry friend to play with.
