Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Purdy, a 5-month-old, 16 lb. bundle of joy who is a delightful mix of schnauzer and poodle. Purdy's journey to our rescue, Concerned Citizens Animal Rescue, has been a tale of resilience and transformation. She was surrendered to us by a woman who, overwhelmed by the demands of breeding, found herself unable to care for Purdy and her siblings. When Purdy first arrived, she was infested with fleas and ticks, in urgent need of veterinary care.
But Purdy’s story doesn't end there. Thanks to the incredible dedication of her foster parents, Purdy and her two brothers, Lucky and Chance, have been nurtured back to health. Their foster family has provided them not just with medical care, but with abundant love and attention. Now, Purdy is a happy, healthy pup, bursting with life and ready for her forever home.
Purdy is a spirited little girl who loves nothing more than to play with her toys and dash around a grassy yard. Her playful energy is infectious, and her zest for life is evident in every joyous bound. She’s a quick learner, too—Purdy is now potty trained and leash trained, with a clean bill of health. She’s been vaccinated and microchipped, and our rescue will cover the cost of her spay surgery at the Simi Valley Spay Neuter Clinic upon approval.
This little sweetheart is more than just a playful pup; she’s a source of endless affection and companionship. Purdy has a gentle soul, and her eyes light up with gratitude and love, reflecting the second chance at life she has been given. She would make a wonderful addition to any family, bringing with her a blend of loyalty, joy, and unconditional love.
If you'd like to adopt Purdy and give her the forever home she deserves, please send your inquiry to our email address: info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org. We will promptly send you an application. Purdy is a very special pup, and she is sure to bring immeasurable happiness and love into your life.
Adopting Purdy means not just giving her a home, but becoming part of her remarkable story—a story of hope, compassion, and the transformative power of love.
