Sprocket, a 10-year-old bundle of love who found himself in a tough spot at Hernando County Animal Control. With 45 precious lives on the line, Sprocket's story could have taken a heartbreaking turn, but thanks to the incredible kindness of one family who heeded our call to save lives, Sprocket's journey took a different path. His life was saved, and for that, we are immensely grateful.

Sprocket is settling into a TEMPOROARY foster home, where he'll be surrounded by care and comfort as he awaits his forever family. But his journey isn't over yet. We're on the lookout for an adopter who will open their heart and home to this sweet, mellow boy, or a longer-term foster who can provide him with the stability and love he deserves.

Sprocket is a gentle soul, weighing in at 51 pounds, with a heart as big as his smile. He's affectionate, good with children, but not so much with cats.

House trained - let's his fosters know when he has to go.

A home with a 6 feet tall fenced yard is required.
