Pen, like many of our rescues, needs time to warm up. And when she does, you'll find that Pen has magically stolen your heart. She has a fondness for older hoomans, yummy bites and tends to get bursts of energy when the sun goes down.

A life long learner, Pen is receptive and making strides with her foster family. She's well suited with a seasoned pet parent in a loving home and a fenced yard. Bonus points if there is a resident male fur sibling to help Pen sharpen her training wheels in a new environment.

Rescue the Underdog is small group of volunteers working in the San Francisco Bay Area. We rescue dogs that would otherwise be euthanized in high kill Central Valley shelters and bring them to the Bay Area where they are placed in loving, lasting homes.
