Chip is a gentle giant, who has quickly become a shelter favorite! He was unfortunately found out running with another dog during the coldest part of January in Michigan. Chip had frostbite on all 4 of his feet and his nose and was very skinny when he came to us.
Chip loves food, treats, and humans. We would recommend only older kids, because of his size. Chip is NOT a fan of other dogs while in the shelter, and has also tried to chase cats, so we would recommend that he would be the only pet in the household. He has a very high prey drive. In his previous life, he lived outdoors tied to a tree, but he is doing very well keeping a clean kennel while here in the shelter. He loves to push and rub his head into his human friends so they can pet him forever. He does great walking on a leash and knows a few commands!
Chip is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
