Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samuel, was rescued with his siblings after being orphaned when their mom was struck by a car. They were taken into recue and lovingly hand raised.

Samuel, is the class clown of his litter. He is goofy and awkward and always looking for attention. Complete with a bowl haircut, big feet and a goofy personality - Samuel is just about as lovable as you can imagine.

Samuel has bonded with Miriam, a lilac flame point/tabby mix. They are BEST friends and are always together

At time of adoption all kittens will have had the following: Spay/neuter, rabies vax, FVRCP vax, deworming & fecal testing, monthly flea/tick treatments, vet check, microchip (optional), felv/FIV testing

We have several adoption events we call "Kitten Cuddles" in the Birmingham area.
The kittens can always be met at the University of Alabama at Birmingham campus by appointment

More about this rescue

Saint Gertrude Rescue is a small, non-profit kitten rescue serving the Birmingham and Huntsville areas in Alabama. We lovingly guide abandoned and orphaned cats and kittens towards their intended forever family. After rescue, these little innocent angels are hand-raised in foster care. Many require constant care and attention. They are given abundant love, nurtured, socialized, and all health and veterinary needs are attended to.

We follow the prayer of our beloved St. Gertrude of Nivelles: “…God has graced us with the love of his heavenly creatures. We pray for the protection of our dearly beloved pets…with the love of all beings.”
