Name: Shadow

Background: Shadow was brought in as a stray on May 25th, but we have reason to believe he recently belonged to a family.

Personality: Shadow is gentle, calm, and quiet. He loves getting pets and prefers affection over playing, though he does like to climb and scratch his scratching post. He is very curious and likes to investigate his surroundings. Shadow loves treats and will immediately appear when he hears the treat bag! We haven't heard him hiss once since he's been here.

Ideal Home: Shadow is a wonderful cat and would do great in a variety of settings, though he should be an indoor cat.

Final Thoughts: We are still getting to know him, so come down to the shelter yourself! It is important to note that Shadow is FIV+, which means he has a weaker immune system than most cats. Despite this, he can live a normal lifespan and can live with other cats, as cats can only get FIV if one infected cat bites another, and Shadow is a lover not a biter!
