Hi. I'm Riley. My foster Mom tells everyone what a good boy I am. Mom says I'm one of the best dog's she's ever fostered from PLL. We live on a farm, and I enjoy riding with Mom to check on her goats. I'm crate-trained and potty -trained which makes Mom happy. I've only had a few accidents, usually around 7-10 PM, because sometimes my family gets preoccupied with family time, and we forget to go outside from time to time. I am crate trained-however, in the morning sometimes I will let you know that I need to go outside to potty. I will alert you with whimpering and a short howl instead of leaving an accident in my cage. Don't worry though, I don't get up too early. I normally get up around 7:00-7:30. Also, if you take me outside to go to the bathroom and put me back in my crate, I will willingly rest longer if you're not ready to get up. I'm a laid-back guy who loves to hang out on the couch with you and go on adventures. I like children and get along well with cats and other dogs. I was scared of cats at first, but not anymore. I will chase a cat if it runs from me, because my foster brother showed me some bad tricks, but I will stop when my foster Mom calls my name and says, "NO" and approaches me. I get along great with other dogs but will stand my ground if they aren't kind to me. I'm laid back boy!
My adoption fee of $400 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
