Meet Blue, a charming 11-year-old Bluetick mix with a heart full of love and a spirit brimming with adventure. This medium-sized dog thrives in the great outdoors, where he loves to play ball, explore new scents, and bask in the relaxation that follows a good exercise session. Always eager to please, Blue’s affection is easily won with a treat or two! As the years have passed, Blue has mellowed into a gentle and affectionate companion. He will flourish in a supportive, loving environment where he can feel safe and cherished. Blue delights in meeting new people and is happiest when he trusts someone enough to shower him with pets and attention. Animal Rescue Rhode Island is open to adopters! Walk-ins are welcome; however, we suggest scheduling an appointment to see our pets, so we'll have a staff member ready to assist you and to ensure the pet you want to meet is available.

If you're interested in adopting one of our pets, please visit our website and complete an adoption application. A staff member will then contact you to schedule a time to meet the pet(s) that caught your eye.
