**Meet Spirit!**

Spirit is a 1-year-old boxer mix with the most gorgeous blue eyes and a smile that will melt your heart. This sweet boy is very well-behaved and has quickly earned the nickname “Velcro dog” because he loves to stick close to his people.

He’s pretty good on a leash and enjoys car rides, although he’s still a bit tentative and needs some encouragement to get in. Spirit is also working on his crate training; while he’s hesitant to enter, he does well once inside and doesn’t have accidents.

Spirit is fantastic with children and gets along wonderfully with the 7-year-old in his current foster home. He’s still learning how to play with toys and prefers soft treats over hard ones. If you’d like to be the family that shows Spirit, what love is all about. Spirit is sure to become a loyal and loving companion. Are you ready to give Spirit the forever home he deserves?

Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
