Meet Milo, an adorable 13-year-old senior dog! Milo and Daphne came into rescue as their previous owner passed away. Although he might be a bit older, Milo still has lots of love and affection to give to his forever family. He would be the most successful in a home with no cats, dogs, and with a fence, preferably a privacy fence. He does not jump fences, but does bark and growl at other dogs so it would be best if he does not have to interact with other dogs.
Milo is the perfect companion for someone looking for a more low-key, yet affectionate dog.He loves to cuddle and snuggle. He is used to being alone at home. Milo is very loyal and will stick by your side through thick and thin. He would do best in a calm and quiet home where he can take life at his own pace. Milo may have a hard time getting along with other dogs, but he's sure to steal your heart with his charming personality and loving nature!
He is not a fan of fireworks and thunderstorms so he does have an anti-anxiety medication he takes as needed.

You can contact us through our website at http://legendsrescue.org/index.php/contact/ or visit our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LegendsRescue/ if you have further questions or would like to schedule a meet and greet.
ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application at http://legendsrescue.org/index.php/adopt/forms/
FOSTER CARE: Our rescues are fostered in individual homes or at our facility. We work hard to ensure that our rescues have a supportive family while at foster homes to help them move forward and get ready for their forever home. We work on training, crate-training and socialization before a dog is adopted out. Foster homes are extremely important to the success of the cat at their forever home, and it is extremely rewarding to be able to watch the cats growth as you help them on their journey to their happy ending. If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please fill out our application at http://legendsrescue.org/index.php/adopt/foster-application/ YOU CAN HELP: If you’re not able to foster or adopt right now, please consider sponsoring a Legend. Your donation will help with our care and pay for medical costs. Visit this link http://legendsrescue.org/index.php/donate/ to donate.

More about this rescue
Legends Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a rescue based in New Brighton, Minnesota founded in 2017. Most of our dogs are rescued from Puppy Mills or surrendered. We help them decompress, realize humans are good, trustworthy and they deserve love. It’s so rewarding watching these dogs come out of their shell and develop personalities.
All of us have been working extra hard with extra dogs! If you are looking to foster or adopt a dog – or two – we have puppies to seniors – shedding and non-shedding.
So, if you have room in your home for some sweetness, or know someone who needs a new friend or two – please contact us, or go to Legends Rescue on Facebook or email.
