Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Victor! This gentle giant is approximately 5.5 years old and is ready for his forever home!
Victor was trapped at a local trailer park where residents reported he was a very feral, senior cat with traumatic injuries. Once we brought him in, we quickly realized that this boy is: 1) A young adult (5.5 years old at most) and 2) ALL love! Victor is one of the friendliest, most affectionate cats that his foster mom has ever met. He loves to snuggle, give kisses, sleep next to you, and generally be wherever you are. He is a confident boy who is usually happy to chill on the couch, but sometimes gets a burst of energy and wants to play! He has learned to REALLY appreciate catnip toys, and enjoys chasing a laser light every so often.
He does not enjoy being picked up and will start to squirm in panic; for this reason only, we recommend kids above the age of reason who can respect his preference to keep all 4 feet on the ground. Otherwise, Victor is great with children and would love a home with kids who will snuggle or play with him. He is timid around other cats, but would likely do okay with another young, gentle/submissive cat given appropriate introductions. Victor has not been tested with dogs but given his outdoor history, would likely be okay with a gentle, uninterested dog (ie one who will not chase and will give him space) with proper introductions and some time.
Victor tested negative for FIV/FELV. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and health-checked by our veterinary partners. His adoption fee is $250.
