My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jingle Bella - a 1 year old, Hound / Black Lab mix, who weighs 45-50 pounds (as of 6/5/24). Gorgeous Jingle Bella was found in a trailer park after being abandoned with her mom (Shasta) and her sister (Jolly Girl). It seems as though their owner just picked up and left.... but clearly forgot a few very important things! We are so happy we were able to scoop up these pups and help them find a loving home who would never leave them behind.

Her foster shares: "Jingle Bella is a little timid at first but once she warms up, she is a doll! She loves playing with other dogs in foster care and enjoys exploring out in the yard. Once she knows her humans, she is the ultimate snuggle buddy. She could spend all day playing with her toys and be happy as a clam. She has been exposed to cats and done fine with them. She has done great with her potty training and we have been working with her on her basic commands. She is still unsure of a leash and would probably do best in a home with a fence yard. I am sure with a little time and patience she will adjust to a leash just fine. Jingle would prefer a home with another fur buddy to play with and help her build her confidence. She is going to make a wonderful family dog or a loyal companion!"

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

KEG Rescue is a small rescue . We work with several rescue group from New England to help adopt our pups/dogs and move them into GREAT homes. New England states have worked hard to pass great laws concerning spay/neuter. By passing these laws they there aren't as many "unwanted litters" in the New England States. There are several transport companies that bring southern rescue pups north to their new homes. KEG Rescue utilizesRed Fern Ranch Transport. Be sure to check them out on Facebook. They are sure to keep adopters updated as the transport is traveling.

Our adoptions are directly thru our website (although we do hope to expand to foster homes in New England if possible). it’s not possible to arrange a meeting of the pup before adoption. This type of adoption doesn't work for everyone and we would be happy to put you in touch with some of our sister groups who have pups on site. The adoption fee covers all of the vet work that has been performed prior to adoption. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate. If you are still interested in adopting from us, please email for an application. We have several adoption coordinators that process the applications and will contact you.

The puppy/dog you inquired about is still in a southern foster home.

More about this rescue

KEG Rescue was started in 2009 and became a Chartered Non Profit on May 28, 2010. It started as a few people wanting to help the many unwanted puppies and dogs in our area. We are one of many rescues in this area as there are so many homeless pets. All our rescues have a common goal of educating the public about the importance of pet ownership and the benefits of spay/neuter

We do this by private adoptions from our site and also partner with other rescues in New England. We believe that these "throw aways" and "mistakes" deserve a forever home of their own.

WE receive our pups/dogs in many ways- we pull from several kill shelters, dogs that are abandoned, and from people who call who need to surrender their own dogs or whose dogs have had puppies. We also focus on not only the many puppies that are down south we also focus on adults that sometimes are harder to place because of their age/size. It is very easy to fall in love with the puppy face but there are even more adult dogs that are abandoned down south
