My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone my name is Nala and I am searching fur a place to call my own! Let me tell you all about myself to see if we would be a paw-fect fit! I am a Sagittarius, I love to go fur drives, and I love to snuggle up on the couch to read mystery books. Have I mentioned that I am housetrained and crate trained?! Well I am, isn't that amazing! I would be fine in a home with other puppers and you can always bring yours down here to meet me before taking me home! I am not sure about cats or children since I have not been around them yet in my life. In my free time I love to play with balls, they are my absolute favorite toy! If I sound like the doggo fur you, then why not stop down here and check me out today!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

While you can’t put a price tag on a lifetime of hugs, kisses, companionship and unconditional love, there are costs involved in caring for a healthy pet. When you adopt a pet from the Siouxland Humane Society, we’ve already performed procedures that are critical for maintaining his or her good health. These important benefits are provided to you in the price of the adoption which include the following:

• Initial Preventative Vaccinations
• Deworming
• Microchipping
• Free Veterinary Health Exam

Cats/Kittens
$50 – $70 - $150*

Dogs/Puppies
$95 – $135 – $165 - $195 – 300*

• Price varies based on breed, age, spay/neuter status and veterinary costs. Higher fees go to help other pets who wait months to find homes.
• Prices may be less than those listed above for Cats/Kittens/Dogs/Puppies if the fee has been reduced from donations to our Sponsor a Pet Program.
