Meet TICO, the adorable 10-month-old, 17lb male
Spaniel mix who's ready to find his forever home! Tico is a very good boy with a heart full of love.
Tico is playful and enjoys a good game of catch with his ball, as well as chewing on his special toys and treats. Tico is very trainable and loves learning —he already knows how to sit and give a paw!
This little guy absolutely loves people and is always eager for rubs and cuddles. He doesn't like to be alone and will often follow you from room to room, just to know someone is nearby. Though he's not a fan of the crate, he does okay when left alone in a safe space and is gradually getting used to it.
Tico does well with other dogs after a good introduction. He enjoys playing with doggie friends! He has also been cat tested and was ok with them.
Tico loves his walks and despite his size, has the energy to keep going for long distances! Tico has been doing well with his leash training. Being outside is one of his favorite things—he loves the sun, rolling in the grass, chasing the hose water, and trying to catch bugs, birds, and squirrels, and rabbits in the yard. Because Tico loves the outdoors, he would do best in a home with a fenced in yard to play in with his humans and with lots of walks. He may be ok in a condo as long as his new family is able to get him outside for lots of exercise.
At night, Tico cuddles up and sleeps well, nudging his foster in the morning when he needs to go out. He’s a pro with house training, and no issues even when left alone for a few hours.
Tico gets the "zoomies" in the morning after his walk, bursting with energy, but calms down as the day goes on.
Tico's a bit of a grazer when it comes to food, but he’s healthy and happy and treat motivated.
